Political Compass

August 21st, 2008 omo

Took it again just now… that makes it at least the 3rd or 4th time? I probably have my old results somewhere but I don’t think things have changed much.

Economic Left/Right: -2.62
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.31

I get the feeling the questions have changed as well as how it is scored.

Despite that political compass is operated by some Libbies, they do a good job representing how people stand from a very general sense.

See how the US 2008 primary candidates did.

Maybe one of these days I’ll dig up my old results, but I don’t think I changed much.

Delegates stripped by party

February 6th, 2008 omo

It’s what the New York Times said about the Dems delegates in Florida.

LULZ.

I’m not really surprised with the outcome. I had a feeling Romney will get screwed because, well, he’s a Mormon. There’s a reason he got 90%+ in Utah. Likewise it wasn’t a surprise that Hillary won Massachusetts. What is, is how well Obama did and how well Hillary did in the South. I guess the women came out in full force?

Looking at the numbers, it seems only white men voted irrelevant to gender and racial lines. Women are slightly sexist, Blacks overwhelmingly went after Obama, and Hispanics to Clinton. For the Republicans it’s the same; the south Huckabee (LOL @ Tennessee). People supported their home town crowd, as the leading hopefuls all won their “home” states.

Imagine if the Democrat race went down the wire and had to resort to counting delegates. The time Clinton spent rallying the states that had no delegates might have bit her back?
