Chipotle here has decent marketing strategy. Since I started working here, I spotted the local Chipotle (which is a couple blocks away) rather immediately and ate there. James, my coworker/friend from before, also started to go there as a result. Somehow things has taken a turn and he’s been going to Chipotle on a daily basis. You can date this with my post about Don’t Stand in Line and see how long he’s been going there.

So on Monday they offered the whole office (total to about 20-30 people) free Chipotle next Monday.

Crazy, huh? Loyalty incentive.

You can order your chipotle order online, call to confirm, and pick up at your designated time.

Did that today; the 35th street Chipotle can have lines going out to door during lunch, so upon James’ tip we ordered ahead. It was a breeze; hardest part was putting in the phone call.

Did I mention I really like Chipotle? The typical tex-mex is salty and spiced; a hearty mix of chunk tomatoes, corn, salsa, rice and beans is flavorful enough on its own. But the spicy salsa really give it the kick to make it go down fast. Today I had a typical carnitas bol–rice, brown beans, carnitas shreds, corn, chunky salsa, mild salsa, green salsa, cheese, sour cream. I probably should just go with the fajita veggies next time and ditch sour cream.

It’s fresh and despite owned by McD, Chipotle delivers quality Tex-Mex that fills you with fresh material.

[edit]

Apparently after your first visit via the DSL process they even give you a call. Amazing.
